Everyone in the office is very nice and friendly. They are very efficient, appointment was kept on time. Everything is streamlined and worked in a timely manner. This was my second visit and I was pleased.

The nurse and all the staff at this location are super friendly. I love that they took their time to listen to all my concerns, and are very knowledgeable in all that they do. Thank you for being so kind and loving the work that you do in helping others.

This was my first visit since 2020 and the DNP that I saw this morning was awesomeI told her everything that was going on and how much pain Ive been in and she ACTUALLY listened to me unlike a few Drs that I wont mention!!As soon as I can Im gonna be transferring my PCP to her thank you Ashley Prince for taking time to listen to me and discuss with me a plan action!!

Took my NEWBORN here, and one of the nurses tried to put an adult cuff on his little arm to take his blood pressure. this is the most unprofessional doctor i’ve ever been to, and my son will not be going back.

More people need to see this.They behave like SCAMMERS. My boyfriend visited Gastonia office on July 24th. Even though he had insurance handy, was asked to pay full price at the premise hell get money back afterwards. Later on, he tried to reach them out multiple times to get reimbursement. Finally one of his calls went through and the billing department rep told him that they will mail him a check. Its been a couple of months since then - still no check and cant reach them either. Avoid them at all costs.

Every time I come to your location, Ashley Killian, is the best person there, she makes me feel like she really cares about n respect me like a real person n Dr. Prince is a great listener, she really try to help you in every way. Had an infected thumb that they took care of and listened to my concerns! Because of the severity of the infection, I will lose the nail. But they have lined up specialists to handle the situation. Good people and concerned for your needs!

Very quiet and quick urgent care. The P.A. Ashley was extremely helpful and polite. She handled my ear problem and put me on the proper meds to help my healing process. All the staff that helped me on 3/5/23 were amazing and friendly. Best part was that I was in and out in no time! Nothing like other Urgent Cares.

Im absolutely astounded, I finally have a doctor that has truly took her time and listened to my concerns. I have had literally about 10 PCPS the past 20 years. Its a miracle, God answered my prayers, a doctor that really cares about my well-being. Dr.Prince is amazing and is knowledgeable in all areas of the medical profession. I have a voice with Dr.Prince, shes priceless!!!

Waited over an hour to be seen with an appointment. Then they tried to shoo us out without even telling us what was wrong! This is the most unprofessional doctors office Ive ever stepped foot in.

The nurses and Doctor (PA) were so nice and courteous. I had a very short wait time, especially considering I was a walk-in. I loved the atmosphere of positivity. I am definitely going back in the future and would recommend them to anyone. 5 stars!

They need to get people to can speak English customer service is horrible I cant understand a word theyre saying they probably dont understand me either so I wish they would fix this

My daughter and I found out we needed Covid tests for something coming up and we got late notice. So many spots in town either don’t have the Rapid Tests or you need an appointment, and we couldn’t wait. We are so great full we were able to ‘walk-in’ with clear instructions outside and a code to scan to get started on paperwork, once that was submitted you call and let them know and they come right out to the car. The women were super friendly and safe and back out with our results in no time. I actually prefer the comfort of sitting in the car until called in or them coming out in this instance and wouldn’t mind if it’s the new norm. Certainly impressed with how quick we got in and taken care of and will definitely look to them next time I need any medical care.

I have been patient of First Care Medical Clinic at a Charlotte location 10 years now. Dr Okwara is a good Doctor. He actually listen. As his patient, my needs mattered to him. I moved out of Charlotte I now attend his Gastonia Office. I have found my niche. The Gastonia Office is his best by far. The colleagues of this office are the most caring, efficient, and genuine I have come across in my 10 years as your patient Dr. Okwara, From Ashley the receptionist and Ashley the PAC. Lets not forget the sweet girl that takes my vitals with each visit, you, Little Miss Orange sunshine. You have a great office here Doc.Thank you one and all.Debora Christianson

The staff were great, very compassionate and treated me like a friend. They were very busy, but they were obviously handling the situation with professionalism and courtesy. I shouldve done my paperwork online before I came, but it wasnt too bad.

When Covid-like symptoms appeared, my daughter and I looked for a clinic near us to get tested. We were unable to find anywhere that could get us in within the next few days, until my boss recommended First Care Medical Clinic, they were able to get us in within the hour and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the service we received. I’d definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who needs any of the services they provide.

If you are looking for a doctor I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know. They were the only place that took walkins and new patients when I really needed to see a doctor ASAP. This place is clean and sanitary. Staff and doctors are very understanding and helpful. They know what they are doing and show superb hospitality. They get you in and out in a timely and efficient manner. This is a place that I feel genuinely cares about their patients medical needs and well-being.

Despite being completely swamped with way too many covid test requests, staff remained friendly, professional, courteous and efficient. I was informed of wait time upon arrival and updated when I requested,with not a trace of irritation from anyone. Totally impressed by the staff who must have been exhausted. Y’all rock.

I came to this clinic on a whim, and they were amazing. Even when my online paperwork could not be found they made a way for me to fill it out again, and saw me in a timely manner. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and the cared! Great place! I will definitely go back if I need to :)

Ashley Prince is a great doctor. Patient, friendly, down to earth. She really listens to you, she put you at ease. Really like her.

We had a great experience at the Gastonia location. The nurse who treated my child was awesome and had the best bedside manner. They were very busy but she kept a smile on her face and did her job effeciently.

It was awful. The desk girl was rude. She did everything to discourage me from using the clinic. And refusing to do a covid test because I was parked on the second row...that was too ridiculous. She would have had to walk an extra 40 feet. The first row was full, its only got 6 or so spaces.The wait room TV was blasting in volume, she kept the glass window closed so I had to yell my answers to her questions that I already answered online. We left.Sorry I wasted precious time in EXTREME pain. Ill never again go there again and dont recommend anyone else go there.

I’m rating 3 stars because I’m right in the middle with my experience. It was neither good nor bad but interesting. Let me start off by staying the Nurse Practitioner was sweet and very hospitable. The Assistant with the short locs was very nice. The appointment seemed to be going very well until I was greeted by the assistant with the shirt hair cut who came to me with a mouth full of food and took my urine sample (which by the way, those cups looks like coffee cups) and went on to test it. Okay..still going okay. She comes back to my room with a mouth full and a swab that she opened and told me swab myself for testing. Never in my 28 years of life have I went to any medical office and had to perform testing on myself. So what did I do? Squatted and swabbed. She came back to my room shocked that I knew how to handle a specimen sample , again with a mouthful. Needless to say , I won’t be going back there despite how sweet the other staff may have been.

We were able to get immediate care, with the kindest and most patient staff. Even with a delay with our insurance company, they smiled and kept us updated. We felt cared for physically and emotionally. Id recommend this office to everyone!

The staff is just trying to do their job while battling being understaffed, but this Urgent Care currently has one of the worst check-in procedures Ive experienced during covid. You will call and most likely be placed on hold, and thusly forwarded to a call center where you will remain in limbo for upwards to an hour or longer bases on my experience. My appointment for rapid testing was 12:45 and it was 1:45 before I was able to submit my paperwork and claim my place in line for testing. The employees are busy and far and few between, so if youre looking for an in and out situation this is not the place for you. They do, however, offer rapid testing and are one of the few places that do.

After waiting over 4 hours for a covid test they tell us they don’t know if they will get to us or not. They apparently do their patients first and first come first served is only for drive ups. There were people competing after us that were more important than we were. This place seriously has issues and completely disrespectful.

I had a Virtual appt. Today . Mrs./Ms. The office manager or receptionist took my call, listened to my concerns and made a Virtual visit, immediately . I had a great visit with Dr. Ashley, and she took my concerns seriously and has me hopefully, on my way to leaving the Flu behind. Thanks so much to you both. 🙌❤

I dont know where to begin. Im absolutely thrilled about First Care Medical in Gastonia. The Doctor ( Dr.Okwara ) is the best by far, he himself gets 5 stars from me. Hes knowledgeable, professional, courteous, passionate about his work all while actually listening to his patients. Most doctors, to them its about a dollar, or getting you in and or out, Not him, not Dr. Okwara. Again, get to know him Im positive youd agree, 100% with me.The Nurses, well Ive only met one, Nurse Ashley P. Omg, shes the best, whenever Dr. O is not there, Nurse Ashley P. Is the only one Ill see. She always addresses all of my cares and concerns in a manner that I can understand with ease. The other staff, theres another Ashley at the front desk, shes such a welcoming person. She always makes you feel at home at not just a patient. The entire environment is pleasantly welcoming. They say that COVID testing is first come first serve but allow returning patients to skip the line in front of new patients. I have waited over 4.5 hours to get tested. When I called to check if they have forgotten, Ashley went on to say that I had not waited 4.5 hours. I got here before 11 am and it is 3:33 pm and still have not been tested.

I was so nervous going into the Dr. I haven’t been in 4 years. They made me feel so welcomed and made sure to listen to all my needs and concerns. Staff and Dr. Was so nice and made me feel at ease.

The nurse practitioner was extremely attentive. She listened and she was very knowledgeable and thorough with her explanations. I highly highly recommend this place, its unlike any Urgent Care Ive been to

Less than enthusiastic reception, long waits even with an appointment, poor communication from staff, poor checkin procedure for COVID testing, poorly kept restrooms w/o toilet paper and or paper towels. I had an 11:45 appointment and by 12:30, I still hadn’t been seen. Online scheduling required providing insurance info and yet upon arrival it had to be done again and that took forever. Email suggested to complete new patient documents in order to reduce wait time on appointment day. I did, arrived and given the same documents again. When I told reception I had completed them online, I was skeptical to do it again, yet again another waste of time for me. Overall condition of facility look poor. Given my experience I left and cancelled the appointment because the wait was too long and given condition of facility and staff I did not feel like I could trust the results. I will never go there again. I was really disappointed by the service. If you are doing COVID testing, especially rapid then it might be best to set up some procedures for that that differ from regular urgent care to reduce risk of spread. If I think I have COVID, it might not be best to have me come in the same place where other are there for different reasons. COVID testing patients come in sign in, wait there, then told to wait in the car for insurance validation. Bad practice, all of that could have been done from the car as other testing sites do.

All the ladies did an AMAZING job today especially during a pandemic and considering I was a new patient, they let me walk right on in. I was not there for COVID testing but they did all they could do to make sure I received good care. Brianna Anderson was the provider and she was WONDERFUL, she listened, provided me with some good knowledge, and made me feel so comfortable, all the ladies did actually! Thank you all for your hard work!!!

I went for a Covid test. The process to signup is not the clearest because online it gives the perception an appt is required. It is not. This would be 5/5 if they make that note on the webpage and also let people know you have to arrive before 3pm to be tested. The nurses are phenomenal, helpful, focused, and nice. PSA: Be kind to the nurses. They are working hard to meet our needs and are extremely short staffed.

0 stars not available! Took a 2:30 urgent care visit for my daughter, walked out at 4:22 due to still waiting. Front desk seemed uncoordinated and the nurse that took her vitals was rude. Will never visit again!

I wasnt even here for Rapid Covid-19 Testing more than 20 minutes. I maid my appointment online the night before and submitted all paperwork. So when I arrived I checked in, went outside for the test to be administered, then waited ten minutes for the result. Very fast and professional!

Went there with my 22 month old who had a 103 fever and runny nose. Arrived at 12 and waited an hour before we were taken back. Mind you there was no one else in the place! There was no sense of urgency at all. The nurse was not good with her at all-had to take her temp twice and second time wasn’t even accurate-she was BURNING UP and the first read said 98.5. Couldn’t collect her blood either-kept squeezing and squeezing for a test they couldn’t run. Waited another 20 minutes for the flu and strep test. We were there for TWO HOURS. I’ll never go there again. Only gave stars for the doctor who was nice.

The young lady that assisted me was very kind and patient, every thing you want whilst sick. I got an appointment the same day for Rapid Covid 19 testing. I was in and out in under 30 mins with a negative result.

I called them and was very poorly treated. English is not my first language, so it isnt always easy to express myself, specially on the phone... but they speak really fast. If you cant keep up with them... they might not assist you the way you need and deserve.

First red flag... My appointment was at 9am and about 4 patients were there before any employee even arrived! the first employee got there around 9.10am. While in the waiting room the receptionist randomly walks out there and asks ya mind me spraying some lysol? and literally gave us a half a second to respond before she begins to spray down the waiting room and even got lysol on an elderly couple sitting there, it was like something out of a comedy movie, I couldnt believe what I was seeing. No way I was gonna let these people see me. Completely unprofessional establishment.

I would recommend First Care Medical clinic to any and all the the staff was remarkable and very professional.

I may have caught them on a bad day, but I waited in the parking lot for 90 minutes before I even got swabbed for my COVID-19 test. i made an appointment and filled out all paperwork online before coming to help expedite the process.I feel terrible, so every minute out of bed is a challenge. Like I said, could just be a bad day for them, but I doubt I will come back here and try again.

Very unprofessional people here however I have no problem with Dr Patel and Dr Hambrecht at all. Nicole, the nurse has always been good to me. No problems with those 3 but the rest of them are very unprofessional. The office manager is horrible and has a bad mouth and she needs to be fired but of couse she continues working there. I have been going there since November of 2017 and I have asked for referrals since then and as of today I have NO REFERRAL, its been 5 to almost 6 monthe now. Also doing unnecessary blood work, urine tests and I even wanted to turn down the blood work and this unprofessional bad mouth nurse says IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, YOU CAN LEAVE. Well guess what? I found me another doctor and got my referral SAME DAY!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE. Either they need to get their stuff straight or they will lose their office. Also mix ups in urine samples. Very unprofessional.

Was looking for a quick visit at urgent care, everyone else had a 2+ hour wait, first care was able to get my son in immediately! Everyone was awesome from the time we walked in ! Thank you!

From the 1st visit to my 2nd visit today the reception nurses and drs where extremely thorough. I will keep coming back if my family Dr cant see me immediately. Sure beats not sitting in the hospital ER waiting to be seen for hrs and then in the examine room you have to stay for 4 to 5 hrs before you get your diagnosis and wait to see if your Drs want you admitted and then wait another hour or 2 in the ER for a room to be cleaned so they can send you up to a floor for 24 to 5 or more before going home. Racheal Hester was AMAZING!!! She is a fabulous front line worker and risk her health every day by doing so many Covid test.She was so pleasant, very friendly, very calm and answered all of my questions very thoroughly! Called back to get my lab results and received a laughing employee on the other line that could only place me on hold.After being on hold for no less than five minutes I hung up and called back for the same person to only giggle when I said I was on hold so long that I called back.She asked me a few questions then disconnected me.I knew when I walked out of their office the day before I wouldn’t be back.The thermostat was reading 72 degrees on a 65 degrees day.Guess they’re just breeding germs around that place.That office sure needs to get it together.

These people put on a nice front on your first visit but then youll come to know them as blatant Liars. On my first visit I was informed that I would have a call from a specialist within 1 to 2 business days. A week goes by and no call from a specialist so I decided to go down to the office. Once there I was told by the lady at the front desk that she was working on my referral right then and a specialist will be calling me the next day. Next day comes no call. So I decided to call the office instead of going then because at this point Im pretty upset and Ive been in pain for almost 8 months now. Called and was informed at their office the referrals take up to one and a half to two weeks. If you want your issue resolved in a timely manner best bet is getting on Google and finding your own specialist instead of coming here or find another primary care physician

The website said your office takes appointments for rapid COVID-19 tests until 6pm so I made a 5:15 appointment, when I arrived at the facility one of the staff members came out and told me they only do testing up until 4pm and that she was well aware of the websites problem butoh well come back tomorrow

I made my appointment an hour in advanced. They were very professional, helpful and nice! I would highly recommend coming here. I can’t remember the FNP I spoke with but she was very caring and very helpful.

If I could give 0 I would. Disorganized and highly unprofessional. While in the waiting room, I heard the front desk staff LOUDLY pass lab results over the phone. No concept of HIPAA. When checking in with spouse for a booster, nurse and cnas jokingly said Ill give him a shot alright. When returning calls, its a mess to get the right person (multiple hangups and mistransfers). Again....highly unprofessional.

I would give them the lowest possible score.I would NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone especially for those who are in the process of getting a green card.The USCIS has plenty of other doctors on their list.They lied to us about the charge of $330 just for urine sample and blood sample. Labcor of america keeps sending us bills for additional $285 just for the lab work.It was our understanding that the $330 covered everything. And of course they will not returned our phone calls.It`s like these people are running some type of SCAM or RACKET.We went there because the USCIS had them on their list of doctors that we could go to because we`re in the process of getting a green card and the location was convenient for us.

Went to get covid testing. Paperwork done online ahead of time. Did not have to wait very long for test or results. Everyone was friendly and professional.

They are very thorough and spend time with their patients...very compassionate and caring... doctors that actually listen and share the results..most doctors say that they are ok and come to find out labs were off and you wasnt told leading off to different directions down the road....they send you to the doctors you need to go if they themselves cant do it.... They do on-site Covid testing and give patients their results in their parking lot... They care enough to follow-up on any results on any tests within the next day or two...always friendly and explain any questions you may have....if your looking for great care and a great check-up/family doctor then here is the place to be...no appt necessary

Unfortunately, this establishment at time of visit was unprofessional. I was there at 5:15PM, they close at six, there were no patients in the waiting area. When I declared my purpose of visit, the first thing that I was told that I didnt have time to do it then. The staff , (at that time) was mostly unsure of what they needed to do for me, and often distracted by personal business. Sorry, but the branch in Rock Hill, SC should be were you need to go.

I really enjoyed the whole time I was there. The doctor and his staff were out standing. I hope I can change doctors, and become a patient.

The people here are rude for no reason. Don’t bother making a appointment cause they’ll just tell you it’s first come first serve. (with no cars in the parking lot lol) so not really first come first serve. It’s whenever they feel like taking you.

I was feeling really bad but this office was so peaceful, clean, and the staff was so caring and genuine. Not your regular urgent care experience. I felt taken care of from the start. Skip all the caosis at the other places and go to First Care on Abeerdeen in Gastonia.

If I could give them zero or less, I would do it. It is a terrible clinic. They lost my daughters results and they didnt even notify me until I spoke. They told me, very upset, and they delayed my immigration procedures for not giving me the results. I went to another clinic and I got it somewhere else very efficiently but they dont want to give me my money back. Ive had a lot of trouble calling them all the time and Ive been asking for my money back for more than a month and they dont want to give it back to me
